Birch tar is a traditional botanical extract with a long history in natural skincare. This balm is formulated with naturally occurring plant compounds to nourish, exfoliate, and support healthy-looking skin.

Acne, eczema, seborrhea, psoriasis, dandruff, and itchy skin have all been successfully nourished with birch tar, and because of the naturally occurring salicylic acid and methyl salicylate (an organic ester)  in birch tar, it acts as a natural exfoliator that sloughs off dead skin and tones new skin. 

Apply to skin in a thin layer 1-2 times a day. Note: Birch tar has a characteristic smoky scent and dark colour with a blueish-green tint.
